Terms for AI Catch-up sessions
Version 1.0 · Effective 4 November 2026. These terms apply to every free chat and paid session you book with AI Catch-up. Please read them, especially the sections in bold, which limit our responsibility or set out your risks. We'll send you a link to them with your booking confirmation, and you can save or print this page.
1. Who you're dealing with
AI Catch-up is a trading name of EasyGov (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), reg. no. 2024/365166/07. Director: Sagie Chetty.
- Physical address: 6 Bournemouth Bend, Parklands, Cape Town, 7441, South Africa (no walk-ins; sessions take place on Teams or at a venue we agree with you)
- Telephone and WhatsApp: 081 745 1306
- Email: ai@randswitch.com · Website: https://ai.randswitch.com
- Address for service of legal documents: 6 Bournemouth Bend, Parklands, Cape Town, 7441, South Africa. This is also our registered office with CIPC. We accept other notices by email at ai@randswitch.com, but formal legal documents must be served at this address.
- We don't belong to any self-regulatory body or subscribe to any industry code of conduct, and we don't use an alternative dispute resolution scheme beyond the complaints steps in section 12.
- We're not registered for VAT.
2. What we offer
- Catch-Up Chat (free): up to 20 minutes on Microsoft Teams or by phone. You tell us where you are with AI and what you'd like help with. No obligation, and no payment details are asked for.
- Catch-Up Session (R850): 90 minutes, 1-on-1, with Sagie Chetty, on Microsoft Teams or in person at a venue in Cape Town that we agree with you. We help you set up free AI tools on your own phone or laptop and use them on two or three of your own real tasks, and show you how to check answers and what's safe to share.
- For a team or small group, ask us. We'll confirm the price and details in writing before you book.
Sessions are coaching and education for your own personal or work use. They are not consulting, software development, IT support or professional advice (see our disclaimer).
3. How booking works
You book by WhatsApp, phone or email. There is no online booking or payment on this site. A booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation (by WhatsApp or email) with the date, time, length, format (Teams link or venue), the price and how to pay, and a link to these terms. Check it and tell us straight away if anything is wrong. Keep that message as your record of the booking; ask us at any time and we'll send you a copy.
4. Price and payment
The Catch-Up Session costs R850 for 90 minutes. That is the full price: no VAT is charged (we're not VAT-registered), and there are no booking fees or other charges. For in-person sessions you pay your own travel and any venue costs (such as your own coffee) unless we agree otherwise in writing. The Catch-Up Chat is free.
How and when to pay is set out in your booking confirmation. We never ask for card details by WhatsApp, phone or email.
5. Changing or cancelling a booking
- You can reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before the session starts. Just tell us by WhatsApp, phone or email. If you've paid, we'll refund you in full, or move your payment to the new date if you prefer.
- Less than 24 hours' notice, or you don't attend: we may keep or charge up to 50% (R425), because we can't usually fill that time. We won't charge anything if you cancel because of death or hospitalisation (yours or of someone you depend on or who depends on you), or if we can rebook the slot.
- Cooling-off right (bookings made by WhatsApp, email or phone). If you're an individual, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA, section 44) lets you cancel a booking made electronically within 7 days after you made it, without giving a reason and without any penalty. If you've paid, we refund you in full within 30 days. If you ask for your session to take place within those 7 days, we'll ask you to confirm in writing that you want it to start early. Once the session has been given, the cooling-off right no longer applies to it (ECTA section 42(2)). Until then, you can still cancel free of charge under this paragraph.
- If we have to cancel or move a session (for example illness or load-shedding), we'll tell you as soon as we can and offer a new time or a full refund, as you choose.
- Late arrivals: if you're late, we'll try to run the full 90 minutes, but if we can't, the session ends at the booked time.
- Technical problems: if a Teams session can't go ahead or is cut short because of a problem on our side, we'll give you the missing time on another day, or a refund for it.
Refunds go back to the account you paid from, within 7 days of being agreed (and never later than 30 days).
6. Quality of service and your rights under the CPA
We'll deliver every session with reasonable care and skill, on time and as described. If a session wasn't delivered as described, tell us within 30 days. We'll redo the part that fell short, at no charge, or refund a fair part of the price, as you choose (Consumer Protection Act, section 54). If your booking came from us contacting you first (direct marketing), you may also cancel it within 5 business days, under CPA section 16. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA.
7. No guarantees about results
We can't promise any particular result: how much time you'll save, what an AI tool will do, or that you'll earn or save money, get a job or win business. AI tools change often, can be wrong, and are run by other companies on their own terms. Their free plans and features may change or stop. What you do with them after the session is up to you.
8. Your part
- Bring your own phone or laptop, charged, with your own accounts (we never ask for your passwords). For Teams, install the free app or use a browser.
- Don't put information into an AI tool that you're not allowed to share, such as other people's personal information or your employer's confidential information. Follow your employer's rules on using AI tools.
- Check any AI answer that matters before you rely on it.
9. Recording
We don't record chats or sessions. Neither of us may record a call or session (audio, video or screen) unless the other agrees beforehand.
10. Our responsibility to you (please read)
Sessions are educational. We're not responsible for decisions you make, or for loss caused by what an AI tool produces, or by the AI providers' services. If we are responsible to you for any loss arising from a session, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for that session. This limit doesn't apply to loss caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, to death or injury caused by our negligence, or where the law (including the Consumer Protection Act) doesn't allow it.
11. Your information
We handle your personal information as set out in our privacy notice.
12. Complaints
Tell us first: ai@randswitch.com or 081 745 1306. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za). For privacy complaints, see our privacy notice.
13. General
- South African law applies. You can use any South African court that has jurisdiction, including the Magistrate's Court.
- If a part of these terms isn't valid, the rest still applies.
- If we change these terms, the version you agreed to when you booked applies to that booking.
